GATE EXAM

Gate or Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is an exam conduct to test students in technical and aptitude. GATE exam is an selection criteria for students to get admission in to various IITs NITs and other universities to get admission in to M Tech. GATE exam is conducted by the IITs on rotation basis. In year 2015, Gate exam was conducted byt IIT Khanpur. These days many PSUs are recruiting on the basis of the students GATE score only.
GATE is conducted for 100 marks out of which 85 marks are from technical branch and 15 marks are from English and aptitude. 

CAT EXAM

CAT o Common Admission Test is an computer based test which is used as the selection criteria for various IIM and other Business schools. Cat Exam tests students on quantitative ability, data interpretation, verbal ability and logical reasoning. The Indian Institutes of Managment IIMs started CAT exam and use the test for selecting students for various administrative programs. Every year each IIM conduct this exam on basis of rotation.
